Meet Chef Zach Warner
Zach Warner found his love for food at the age of 9 in his childhood home of Rome, New York. One Easter holiday, he worked up the courage to ask his mother, grandmother and great-grandmother if he could help with the family’s traditional holiday baking. That Easter, he braided his first orange-flavored loaf of bread and found his passion. Warner received his degree in Food Science and Nutrition from Paul Smith’s College, and went on to pursue his culinary degree at The Culinary Institute of America. After graduating in 2011, he held several positions at restaurants and catering venues from New York City, Nantucket Island, Phoenix and Dallas. Warner’s passion for serving wholesome, organic, sustainable and locally-grown food is what led him to Up On Knox. The dedication both Warner and Courseau have to sustainability and giving back to the earth is what makes the pair a perfect match.
